With a team of five qualified stylists and two emerging talents, we bring decades of experience to the salon floor. Collaboration, education, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do. We continually invest in training and raising the next generation of great hairdressers right here in the salon.

    TEAM LEADER

    I'm Lainie, one of the senior stylists here at our beautiful space, Tangles, where I’ve had the pleasure of working for the past seven years. With 17 years of experience in the industry, I bring a mix of skill and humour to every appointment - you might find yourself laughing (or even crying!) the whole way through.

    I’m especially passionate about creating beautiful blondes, embracing natural curls, and styling for all occasions. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and that genuine approach helps me bring your hair dreams to life.

    Outside the salon, you’ll find me with my three beautiful children and my wonderful husband, who’s my biggest supporter.

  • Julie Mcdiarmid

    LEGACY STYLIST

    I’m Julie, I’ve been hairdressing for 49 years - long enough to see styles from the 1970s and '80s make a comeback! From voluminous feathered looks and bouncy curls to the iconic mullet, I’ve seen it all. And don’t forget the razor cut, it’s one of my favourites.

    Over the years, my experience has allowed me to mentor and inspire many young hairdressers, including our very own Felicity. I have a genuine love for people and pride myself on making everyone feel welcome.

    Here at Tangles, I continue to share my passion through strong head massages, classic perms, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

  • Nicole Diment

    MASTER STYLIST

    I'm Nicole, I have been a hairdresser for the past 15 years. Hairdressing has always been a strong passion and big part of my life since starting when I was just 15 years old.

    My role has taken a slight step off the tools with balancing life and motherhood. You will see me around the salon spending most of my time training with the upcoming stylist's and greeting you when you arrive on the front desk. If you don't see me you will be sure to hear me!

  • Chelsea

    SENIOR STYLIST

    I'm Chelsea, I started hairdressing in 2019, I've always wanted to be a hairdresser from a very young age. My favourite part of my job is to make my clients feel beautiful and confident.

    I love everything blonde, foils, basin balayage, toning, also love styling cause I can see the end result.

    A few of my hobbies are traveling, camping, horse riding and spending time with friends and family

  • Ashleigh

    EMERGING STYLIST

    I’m Ashleigh, Tangles’ third-year apprentice. I’ve loved hairdressing since I was a little girl playing with Barbies, and I started my journey in Year 10 by completing a Certificate II in Salon Assisting.

    After some work experience, I knew this was the career for me. I joined the amazing Tangles team two years ago and haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve learned to perm, colour, foil, blow-dry and cut and was proud to be runner-up in a NAK Colour Competition in early 2024.

    While I complete my apprenticeship, I’m offering selected services at a discounted rate. Please call the salon for more info, as prices may vary.

    EMERGING STYLIST

    I’m Kayla, I started working as an apprentice at Tangles in June 2024. I love the environment and have learnt so much from the team in a short time.

    Some of my interests outside of hair is creating art, listening to music and water sports.
